Our Story
Welcome! My name is Devon Crisp, and I'm the founder and teacher/caregiver here. My journey to opening this preschool was a culmination of two passions: a deep love for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
As a mother and wife, I understand how important it is to find a place where your child feels safe, cared for, and inspired. While working in STEM for the federal government and directing summer camps, I decided to pour my passion for education into my own licensed in-home program.
I've seen firsthand how hands-on exploration can unlock a child's potential. My goal is to create a dynamic environment where curiosity is celebrated and every project is an opportunity for discovery. This isn't just a business for me; it's a way to give children the tools to explore and create right now, building a foundation for a lifetime of learning. I am dedicated to providing a high-quality program and am excited to share this adventure with your family.

Your child's safety and well-being are our top priorities. Waldorf Kids Club is a family-licensed home childcare, fully compliant with all state and local regulations in Waldorf, Maryland. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and our home has been thoroughly child-proofed and inspected to provide a secure and healthy space for play and learning. You can have complete peace of mind knowing your child is in a safe and professional environment.
